Anyone over 18 can be a member of the Beaumont Society irrespective of
age, gender, sexuality, race, religion or colour. All we ask is that
you agree to abide by the rules in our
constitution. Members can be trans people, partners, family, friends
or
professionals involved in the care of trans people or anyone with an
interest in gender issues.
At present there are three classes of membership
POSTAL members are sent a Magazine and Bulletin every quarter. You are given details of your local regional organiser to contact to arrange sponsorship if you wish to use the postal contact system or the library.
INTERNET only members do not to receive any post from the society. The Magazine and Bulletin are both available in the members area of this web site.
COMBINED membership means that members have access to the members only part of the web site as well as receiving the magazine and bulletin by post every quarter.
Membership of the society enables us to represent the transgender community at a national and regional level. We educate, promote a positive image and advocate for acceptance of all the transgender spectrum. The transgender community has become much more accepted by society since we were first formed, but there are still many challenges that face us and only by working together can we continue to improve our image and acceptance by the wider community in which we live.
We test all username and password combinations before sending them to ensure they allow access to the members area.
The most common cause for members not being able to access the private area is that cookies are not allowed either on your browser, or by any anti virus software you may have installed.
If you're having issues accessing the members area - you can click on the link for the browser you are using to see how to accept cookies.
